AAMOC Fun Day at Water Park - update |

As of now, the weather forecast is favorable. AAMOC hopes most of students and their families, and volunteers can attend this fun day.
AAMOC is providing water, drink, and some snacks. Some food is available at the concession that people can purchase on their own (Hot Dog ~ $2.00, and hamburger ~ $3.00). If desired and there are a few volunteers, we can collect money to buy/order sub sandwiches from outside (price ranges from $5.00 to 8:00 per sandwich). I will bring information so people can decide. If food is ordered, AAMOC will subsidize the cost for student's sandwiches.
Do not forget to bring cash for park entrance fee ($5.00 per vehicle), personal pass to Water Park ($7/person) and Food. AAMOC can NOT and Will NOT be responsible for safety of students. In another words, parents must take responsibility for their own children. |

AAMOC plan has been to have a Fun Day at Water Park on Saturday June 20th from 2:00 till close. June 20th was selected to allow for warmer weather and not too far in summer before many go out of town. Unfortunately, weather forecast for this coming Saturday is rainy which is not good for going to Water Park.
We still would like to have the Fun Day on this coming Saturday. However, due to weather uncertainty we will defer the final decision till Saturday Morning. Please check www.aamoc.org on Saturday for direction (go or no go). AAMOC Award Ceremony - Thursday June 11th 5:30-8:00 |

Please join us for 2009 AAMOC Award and Recognition Ceremony on Thursday June 11th at Tappan (2nd Floor). All students MUST be at Tappan at 5:30 to register and find their designated seats in order to start the program on time at 6:00 Sharp. We must vacate the building on time and can not be late. As students are taught Ann Arbor high schools: to be on time means to arrive earlier, arriving on time means you are late. We also need parents and students to be seated in the auditorium no later than 5:50. We need some 20 parents to be at Tappan at 5:30 or sooner to help in setup. Please arrive early – this is in addition to those who send me email and offered help. They have specific tasks, and they will direct other to help as well.
